FANS DISCOVER BRIDGETTE TATUM BEYOND THE MULTI-WEEK #1 "SHE'S COUNTRY"
Singer/songwriter Bridgette Tatum has garnered a wealth of attention and opportunities since co-writing her first #1 single, "She's Country," for Jason Aldean. The power house songstress is launching a new website promoting her own upcoming project, making appearances across country media outlets and performing with Aldean this week.
Tatum unveils her new website this week and will be streaming several songs from her own project. Fans of the rocking "She's Country" will soon have a new artist to follow. The collection reflects her many personalities, effortlessly transitioning from defiant, amped-up rockers to tender, intimate ballads to straight-shooting social commentaries. The site will include new photos, blogs and tour dates.
Tatum takes the stage at the Food Lion Speed Street 600 Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Thursday, May 21 at 8 pm. She's the opening performer for Jason Aldean on the Miller Lite Stage and admission is free.
Among the host of media that have interviewed Tatum recently, features have run in The Tennessean, "CMT Insider" with upcoming interviews on "Inside Music Row" and in Country Weekly, among others.
GAC's "Headline Country" caught up with Tatum and Myrick in Key West during the Songwriters' Festival. Host Storme Warren spoke with the pair who will be featured in this week's episode debuting Thursday, May 21. Tune in at 9 pm ET or any of the reair times.
Co-written by Tatum and Danny Myrick, "She's Country" has struck a chord with listeners. It's the #1 ringtone of all genres, been played over 25 million times on MySpace and been certified Gold (over 500,000 sales) by the RIAA. It was recently announced that "She's Country" will be included in the Rock BandTM Country Track PackTM for Xbox 360®, Playstation®3 and WiiTM. Bridgette Tatum is nominated for "Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year" in the 21st AnnualMusicRow Awards.
